If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?“
-- Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

Some of our investigations remain undisclosed. One reason is that some clients want to remain anonymous. The other reason is that we don’t want to create a new tourist attraction, because that would hinder us in our further research.

Therefore only the details of some investigations are given below:

Profaned church dating back to the 12th century

In July ’06 we had the opportunity to investigate a church dating back to the 12th century A.D., which was turned into a house in the 19th century (1803). This building is abandoned since the early 1960ies but was now being bought and will be turned into a private home again soon.

In the early 19th century two floors were added to the building. In the basement there are still graves from the baroque period, though there isn’t much to see, because a wall now separates them from the rest of the tiny basement.

After doing our base reading we started our investigation at 9 p.m. We then split up into two teams, investigating the basement, ground floor, first and second floor as well as the attic. The roof was renewed a few years previously, but the rest of the building was in a terribly rotten state, so we really had to be very careful. We spent five hours investigating this place. After reviewing 20 hours of audio evidence and 10 hours of video, we can’t say that this building is haunted, because we couldn’t find any anomalies whatsoever, though this building has a very creepy atmosphere. We want to return there, if possible, somewhere in 2008.

19th century mansion

The owners of the top-floor flat of this mansion, which was built in 1870 (the top-floor being added in the 1920ies), stated that they would quite often hear bangs coming from the hallway, a strong feeling of being watched in the bedroom and their cats always watching a certain spot in the living-room.

In October ‘06 we set out to investigate this flat. When we did our base readings in the early evening we could already locate the possible source of the tenants’ uneasy feelings in the bedroom. The wall directly behind their bed gave us a very high reading on our EMF-meter. We suppose this was caused by bad wiring as we could also see that their electrician did a very poor job when doing the wiring for the lamps and the tenants told us about problems with electricity in the kitchen.

The old cables were probably left in the walls when the wiring was renewed.

During the following investigation we couldn’t find anything paranormal. The spot in the living-room, which was often watched by the tenants’ cats, was located directly next to a window and didn’t give any unusual EMF-readings.

We didn’t get any results on our recorders or on film.

The noises in the hallways were probably caused by the old wooden floor and beams. We could find evidence of wood-worms, which sometimes can be quite noisy…

During this investigation we couldn’t find any evidence of a haunting.
